                                                   Sinharaja forest is one of the foremost forest systems is Sri Lanka. Sinharaja forest belongs to the category of tropical rainforest💦🌳🌿. It is one of the most valuable forest systems in the world and has a very high biodiversity🐸🐍🐒. 



                                          Sinharaja forest is bordered by Rathnapura, Galle, Matara districts of Sri Lanka. It covers an area of 11187 hectares. The Sinharaja forest was declared a world Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1989. Many special of flora and fauna endemic to Sri Lanka live here. Today, The Sinharaja forest is being affected by various human activities. The Sinharaja forest has been adversely affected due to certain development activities taking place in the country😔😕. Therefore it is very important to protect the Sinharaja forest which are of great value💙💙.
