                                                   There is a major kingdom among the kingdom is Sri lanka in the area where I live. That is the Yapahuwa Kingdom. Yapahuwa Kingdom is located in the Mahawa divisional secretariat division in the Kurunegala district. The kingdom of Yapahuwa is fourth kingdom of Sri lanka. 

 
                                             The Yapahuwa kingdom was born after the "Dambadeniya Kingdom". Yapahuwa was first fortified and built by a ruler named "subha". It was later renamed as the capital by king "Bhuwanekabahu" The kingdom of Yapahuwa was created in such a way that is could withstand the onslaught of the enemy at that time. 
                     

                                              It is a very beautiful kingdom. Nowadays many tourists visit the kingdom of Yapahuwa. Yapahuwa is also a very popular destination among foreign tourists.
